WINDERADEEN QUARTER HORSES
In 1970, Winderadeen Quarter
Horse stud at Collector, New South Wales, was started with
the importation from the US (home of the Quarter Horse) of
some of the finest bloodlines, in both mares and stallions,
available in the World. AQHA Champion stallion, Beggar
Bingo,
an own son of Leo Bingo was the first stallion
to come, along with mares by such great sires as Zantanon
H, Blondie's Dude, Gay
Bar King, Magnolia Pay, Tiny
Watch, Six Chicks, Dee
Gees King, and
many others that read like a who’s
who of the quarter horse world. These were followed by another
stallion, Jet Boom, by Jet Deck, who went on to become
one of the dominant sires of the industry.
Stallions to follow over the years were Quaker
Straw, Little Peppy Doc, Dashin
Saint, and the stud now stands
five stallions - Smart Little Scotty, Intricatolena, Sargeant
Freckle, HF
Somethin Hot, and Invited Tiger . All these
stallions are imported from the US and are of the finest
proven performance bloodlines available. One of our main stallions, Cee A Barpasser passed away in September 2007. |

The mare band has been added to over the years, with daughters
of Gay Bar King, Shorty Lena, Son
ofa Doc, and Montana Doc joining
the cutters, while the last mare to arrive is a daughter of Zips
Chocolate Chip, and is a full sister to one
of the leading US Pleasure sires, Chips Hot
Chocolate. She comes
from a family of Congress and World Champion pleasure horses.
Winderadeen continues to do what it set
out to do in 1970 – breed
good looking, trainable, superior performance horses. The results
in the show arena speak for themselves and are our greatest advertisement.
The proof of the ability of Winderadeen Quarter Horses to achieve their goals is evidenced by the results of the 2006 AQHA National High Point Awards. Winderadeen bred horses, or horses by our stallions, earned 19 High Point Awards, 10 Runner Up High Point awards, and 49 horses in the Top Ten ( and this number excludes the High Point and Runner Up winners!). This is indeed an outstanding achievement.
